In 2024, Tessa Lagos launched the Materiales con Corazón project with the goal of improving educational opportunities in Honduras by providing school supplies, toys, and hygiene kits to students in remote communities in the Merendón mountains. In that first year, 41 students were supported in the communities of El Majaine, Vegas del Corozal, and El Tamarindo.
 

In 2025, Materiales con Corazón expanded its reach and, to date, has helped 184 students in the communities of San Miguelito, Monte Vista, Cedillos Bonilla at Los Mejías, Palma Real, and Nuevo Camino.
